This will describe how to connect to the IMD network shares from a Windows machine.  The IMD network shares are used for submitting assignments to teachers, getting files from teachers, some personal space, team drives (group work), common folders, and some required resources.


IMPORTANT - If you are OFF CAMPUS, you need to be connected to the college VPN server before accessing the network shares.

We have created an automated connection script

Download and install the MMServer Drive Mapper.


It does some checks to determine problems before asking for your College Username and Password (example: abcd1234 and yA12345678).  Then it will connect you to


  • Personal Storage (Z:)
  • Teacher Dropbox Folders (Y:)
  • Teacher Public Folders (X:)
  • Team Drives (W:)
  • Resources (V:)
  • Common Folders (U:)
  • Your ITS Network Drive (N:)



Run the Mapper Tool and Enter your college username and password.  Click Connect.






You will now see the drives listed on the left side of your folder windows.
